📘 Overview
The terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to RedwoodJS and the Shareware.dev platform. The term the “Site” refers to https://shareware.dev. The terms “user,” “you,” and “your” refer to site visitors, contributors, customers, and all other users of the site.
This site provides:
- A directory of community-submitted add-ons and plug-ins for RedwoodSDK
- Tools and templates for use with RedwoodSDK
- Digital and physical products for sale
Use of the Site and its services (“Service”) is subject to the following Terms and Conditions. By using the Site or Service, you agree to these Terms and Conditions without modification and acknowledge that you have read them.
👤 Use of the Site and Service
You must be 18 years or older and have the legal authority to agree to these Terms to access or use the Site. Children under 18 are not permitted to use the Site. While we strive to provide accurate and useful developer content, we do not guarantee that all information is current, complete, or error-free. Use it at your own discretion.
🔐 Account Creation
You may be required to provide identifying information (such as your name, email, and password) to use certain features. You agree that all information you provide is accurate and up to date. You may not impersonate another person or use a false identity. Your account may not be used for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.

We aim to describe and display our services accurately, but errors may occur. We reserve the right to correct pricing, descriptions, or errors and to cancel or refuse any orders based on inaccurate listings.
📤 User-Submitted Materials
You may upload content to the Site, including code, documentation, and media (“Materials”). You must have the right to distribute anything you submit and agree not to infringe on third-party rights. You are responsible for all content you submit.
🧠 Intellectual Property Rights to Your Materials
You retain ownership of your submitted content. However, by submitting Materials, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use the content for purposes of promotion, distribution, and display on the Site and in connection with the Service.
🏷️ Our Intellectual Property
All content created by us (RedwoodJS), including design, branding, and site infrastructure, is our intellectual property. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.
Violation may result in immediate removal from the Service without refund.
📝 README and Installation Instructions
All submitted add-ons must include a README.md file with clear, step-by-step installation instructions. The instructions must be easily followed by a developer or an automated agent and should cover all required setup, including routing, config, and usage.
🔄 Changed Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Updates are effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Site or Service indicates your agreement to the updated terms.
📉 Limitation of Liability
Use of the Site and Service is at your own risk. We are not liable for damages of any kind—including loss of data, profit, or system failure—arising from use or misuse of the Site or any third-party add-ons. Our maximum liability is limited to $100 or the amount paid for a service, whichever is greater.

We link to third-party websites and repositories. We are not responsible for their content, practices, or policies. Your use of third-party resources is at your own risk.

⚖️ Governing Law & Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. All disputes must be resolved in Delaware, and must first be attempted through good-faith mediation.

The prevailing party in any dispute shall be entitled to recover reasonable legal fees and costs.
🧩 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, the remainder shall remain in full force.
🔄 Assignment
These Terms may not be transferred or assigned by you. Any unauthorized assignment is void. These Terms are binding upon and shall inure to the benefit of the parties and their successors.
